Zamayra, how are you enjoying your winter in South Florida? Must be hard to live in a place that’s warm year round.
Winter in South Florida? Never heard of that. It’s summer all year long! haha. Florida has the sunniest winter climate in the Eastern United States. It doesn’t bother me one bit, I much rather be surrounded by warm water, sun in my face, lounging in my bikini than to live in a gloomy and cold environment.

What’s been the best thing about modeling in Florida this past year?
I’ve had the opportunity to meet and work with such amazing & talented people in the industry this year. It’s hard sometimes to come across genuinely nice people these days, so it’s refreshing when I do. Some of my modeling highlights of this year have been being part of Miami Swim Week, being featured on Sports Illustrated SI.com as Lovely Lady Of The Day, appearing live on Fox Sports 1, working as a Corona Extra Ring Girl for the Golden Boy Boxing: Return of Antonio Tarver event, filming for Telemundo, as well as traveling to the Bahamas to shoot the VPX Redline Xtreme Girls Calendar. I’m grateful for it all! I must say 2013 has been a great year, but I’m more than ready for 2014.

What’s 2014 have in store for Zamayra Centeno?
I’m definitely setting my goals to new heights this upcoming year! I’m not sure what’s in store for me just yet, but I can only hope for nothing but great things! I am looking forward to collaborating with photographers on some new projects I have in mind. Maxim Hometown Hotties contest is just around the corner so keep a look out for me! xx
