This Week’s Featured Drink: The Tequila Sunrise
Forrest Miller – Muze Staff Writer
It’s officially November. That means that, for most of us, fall is pretty much over and winter is here. This week has also been a week marked by severe hurricane weather and flooding. We could all use a little sunshine. That is why the drink of the week is the Tequila Sunrise; Classic, simple, delicious, hopeful. And, while it can’t make the weather any better, it might lift sprits.
The Tequila Sunrise
Ingredients:
- 1½ oz. tequila
- ½ oz. grenadine
- Orange Juice
- Maraschino cherry (garnish)
Directions:
Build over ice in a highball glass. Add the grenadine last to create the sunrise effect. Add a cherry as desired to garnish.
