This Week’s Featured Cocktail: The Red White and HPNOTIQ Blue Martini

Forrest Miller – Muze Staff Writer

The elections are over and so goes all the political ads, the never ending spats and squabbles, the partisan bickering, the pundit advice, the stump speeches, the twisting of words, the vague policy outlines, the flip-flopping, the tangential answers, and the finger pointing.  Or so we hope.  One thing is for certain: the political ads have died down.  We can all drink to that!  So let’s all reach across the aisle this weekend and raise our glasses to the end of the election season and to living in the greatest country on earth!

The Red White and HPNOTIQ Blue Martini

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz. HPNOTIQ
  • 1 oz. citrus vodka
  • A splash or lemon lime soda
  • Grenadine
  • Shaved coconut (garnish)

Directions:

Shake vodka, HPNOTIQ, and a splash of lemon lime soda with ice.  Strain into a cold martini glass.  Slowly pour in a small amount of grenadine, allowing it to fall to the bottom of the glass.  Garnish with the shaved coconut.  Enjoy the taste of freedom.
