Holly thanks for taking the time to share a bit about yourself with our readers. So where are you from, where did you grow up and how did you get into modeling?
I’m from Tennessee and grew up in a small town called La Vergne. Modeling wasn’t anything I had planned and I kinda fell into it. After church one Sunday, I was walking thru the mall in my “Sunday best” and a lady stopped me and said “You could be a model!” I laughed her off and she insisted that I look at pictures of her daughter as she told me stories of her working in Paris. Coincidentally I had torn out an insert from a girly magazine that had a cute girl in a sunhat and pigtails and stuck it in my purse before heading to the mall. The girl on that torn out insert, was her daughter and she had the magazine there with her. It was such a shocking coincidence, I thought to myself…this means something.

From your port and Bio it’s pretty clear your career took off and you had a chance to travel internationally and shoot on some pretty impressive projects. What were some of your favorite shoots, moments, collaborations?
I have worked in some of the most beautiful locations in the world; Italy, France, Austria and South Africa to name a few. It’s hard to choose a favorite, but one that stands out is a fashion editorial I shot in Austria. The location was a castle and we got to stay at the castle for 5 days during the shoot. Everything from long chiffon gowns to horse drawn carriages and duck served on a silver platter. It was straight out of a fairytale. Another favorite moment is when I got my first foreign editorial, an Italian fashion magazine and the feeling when I picked up the freshly printed copy at the publishing house.

Now to what I really wanted to ask you about. Your rise up the ranks of the Disc golf circuit. We are fans of disc golf at Muze When did you take up the sport and when did you decide to go pro and go on tour?
I LOVE DISC GOLF! I started playing about 11 months ago and was halted by a 5 month modeling contract in Africa, where I didn’t get to play much. As soon as I got back to the states in February 2012, I started touring around the U.S. as an amateur playing all the big events; NT’s, Major’s and SuperTour’s. I even played in my very first World Championships where I placed 4th in Advanced Women and got an invite to the USDGC, another prestigious event. I ended up playing about 30 events this season and traveled to 14 different states and won about 16 1st places. Officially my status is still amateur, but I plan on going pro as soon as I return from Cape Town in February 2013.

You are sponsored correct? By Innova? Super cool! How has this all been going for you? I’m guessing there aren’t too many international models on the tour these days?
I am sponsored by Innova as a celebrity ambassador and also have 3 other official sponsors; Gotta Go Gotta Throw, Dyenamite Discs and Black Ace Disc Golf. I’m very thankful for the opportunities I have received and hope to grow disc golf around the world. As far as I know, I’m the only international model on tour!

What all does Innova do for you? Are you kind of a star out there?
Innova is amazing and supports me in many ways. They offer me promotional discs and materials, clothing and accessories, marketing and a yearly quota of discs. They also have bonus plans. Recently, Innova shipped 2 traveler baskets and a box full of lightweight discs to Africa so that I may give clinics on the sport of Disc Golf. I received the shipment about 2 weeks ago and hope to give many clinics before my departure in February 2013. In my mind, anyone that plays disc golf is a star.
