Australian Remix Master Pogo Presents Vasna – A Mesmerizing Video Remix Journey

By Emery Duffy – Muze Staff Writer

Enter the mystic mind of Pogo, an online video and music producer and visionary from Australia who creates artistic segments that are enchanting to both the eyes and the ears. Pogo’s YouTube video Vasna transports the audience into Perth, Australia, where Pogo showcases Vasna Shalom, a clairvoyant he discovered in Perth, in her daily routine. The music and visuals of the video are a treat to behold as they hypnotize and draw the viewer into the clairvoyant’s foriegn, mesmerizing world.

The music that Pogo arranged for Vasna perfectly captures the gentle nature of the graphics and editing of the video, using snippets of Vasna’s voice and swaying flute solos mixed with a mellow, continuous blend of percussion throughout. The arrangement has an incredibly soothing affect on the listener, transporting him or her into life through Vansa’s wise, calm eyes.

The editing of the video gives the viewer an array of vivid colors and rich scenery, infused with shots of sunlight glimmering through a crystal ball, trickling streams, and Vansa wearing brightly colored robes as she looks and speaks into the camera. The viewer can literally feel the dapples of sunlight, the refreshing water, and the cool, smooth stones that Vansa holds in her aged, wise hands.

Pogo brilliantly creates a short, mental vacation by partnering the natural, yet ethereal, music with the gentle, warm visuals. These elements mixed together are almost the equivalent of a day at the spa. Pogo not only proves to his audience that this video is unarguably a work of art, but that he is an artist at work.
