Actress and Model April Rawlings – A Chicago Area Native Makes it to Hollywood and to Muze

April Rawlings, was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. Early on, April knew that she loved to entertain and continually became the center of attention wherever she went. From dance recitals, plays, and musicals April had a smile that would light up a room and a passion for art that was undeniable.

The drive to “be a star” led her to become the captain of her dance team at the University of Illinois. April loved to dance and cheer in front of thousands of fans every football and basketball game. Hoping for the chance to get to cheer in front of the camera for ESPN. However, it was very important for her to get an education and make her family proud. She graduated with a bachelors in Landscape Architecture and Horticultural Science with honors and big dreams.

Poised and ready, she left for Las Vegas in 2006 and starred in a hit television series, Paradise City which was produced by Ryan Seacrest and Gogoluckey on the E!Network.

Soon after Paradise City, April left Las Vegas and created a life in Los Angeles. She started to make a name in the commercial world booking nationals with clients:Bud Light, Suzuki, Target, Del Taco, Comcast, Chrysler, Old Navy, Captain Morgan, Microsoft, and Foster Grant.

April also booked a huge editorial campaign with Old Spice and Isaiah Mustafa. You can find the two of them posing in a bathroom full of Old Spice bubbles. The two different ads ran nationally in magazines like; ESPN, Entertainment Weekly, OK, US Weekly, and People.

With recent parts on Networks like, CBS, Comedy Central, and Fox April will be an actress to watch in the upcoming year.
