Let’s be honest, we all love animated characters. Maybe we can relate to them, or wish we were more like them, but more than likely watching their troubles and misfortunes make us feel better about our own lives. No matter the reason, we love them. So, here is Muze’s top 8 animated characters of all time.

Genie grants your every wish and has unlimited shape shifting abilities. The famous Genie is right; everyone should have a friend like him.

It’s hard to not have respect for someone who refuses to quit and this is Wile E. Coyote to the end. Each elaborate plan he creates to catch his nemesis the Road Runner is doomed for failure, but no matter how many times he gets smashed or blown up, he refuses to lose.

Stan Smith is the true all-American man, and proud of it! He’s all about portraying himself as without weakness even though his character is incredibly flawed. We love him because he stands up for what he believes is right, no matter how wrong he may be!

He knows his way around a sword and has all the ladies swooning. That’s why we here at Muze think he’s the cat’s meow.

He’s a wise cracking, alcoholic dog. He’s also an aspiring writer that can never catch a break but that doesn’t stop him! He manages to hook up with beautiful (and stupid) human women, which if nothing else gives men hope that they can score with beauties too.

He’s a loveable oaf that even after twenty plus years, audiences can’t get enough of! He has a job he can’t seem to lose and a hot, doting wife. Who wouldn’t want to be Homer?

Ted is a bad ass, weed smoking Teddy Bear, who just so happens to be hilarious as well. Here at Muze we think a lot more men would own Teddy Bears if they all acted like Ted.

What could be cooler than a talking baby? A talking maniacal baby with a killer weapon arsenal, of course! Despite having a clearly sociopathic nature, Stewie has a bond with the family’s dog, Brian, who he considers his equal. But he’s still not above humiliating Brian in hysterical ways. Stewie Griffin is the baby we all love and hope to never have!
