Douche Bag of the Day Award – Mitt Romney – “No one ever asked to see my birth certificate…”

Today Mitt Romney doubled-down, no tripled-down on his flirtation with birthers. On the campaign trail in Michigan he said this:

“No one has ever asked to see my birth certificate. They know that this is the place that we were born and raised.”

This is a new low for Mitt and could be a sign of desperation. Perhaps his polling is showing his appeal to middle of the road voters is limited so he needs to make a play for the extreme right, racist wing of the party. Whatever it is, it’s clear Mitt is a giant Douchebag and wins our “Douche Bag of the Day Award.” We will be sending him a plaque in the mail.
