Anastasiya it’s a pleasure to feature your photos here and get to know more about you! Where did you grow up and where do you live now?
Thank you for giving me an opportunity to share a little something about myself with you guys:) I was born and raised in Russia, in a small industrial town. I always wanted my life to be exciting and if that were to be happen I had to do something about it. so I moved to a bigger city when I was 16, went to college to learn English and then came to America when I was only 19 to pursue an ‘american dream.” I currently live in Los Angeles and absolutely love it!
Do you have many opportunities to model or act in LA? How’s the pursuit of all that going for you?
California in general and LA in particular are entertainment centers of the US so I`m pretty sure I`m in the right spot for modeling and acting! LA has many many opportunities for young talent and I know for a fact that if you live in LA and just keep towards your goal you will eventually achieve it.
So tell us something about your city. Where is it located in Russia and what do you do there?
My city in Russia is called Perm and it really is just an average city with average opportunities located in the heart of Russia. At least it seems average to me. Don`t get me wrong, I love my country and I will never forger where I come from but to be the person I want to be I had to move out and move on:) so I moved to California 2 years before graduating from a university in Perm. And I haven`t had any regrets so far:)
OK so I have to ask, do you know why there are so many beautiful women in Russia? Is it something in the water over there? Seriously your country seems to be packed with them!
Hahaha! Yes Russian women are gorgeous, you got that right! and I don`t have any reasonable explanation to that fact! it might be something in the water, it`s as good a guess as any other haha
Where would you like to take your career Anastasiya? What are your modeling and acting goals?
I started my career as a model but am slowly getting into acting as well. I honestly love both equally and would love to do both for as long as I can, because you know a model`s career is not the longest one! I would definitely like to appear in some more print publications and work with more amazing photographers. as far as acting is concerned I`m still trying to figure out where I am going with it, but I am sure it will be a fun road!
Have you traveled outside Russia and US yet? Where would you like to go most?
I haven`t traveled a whole lot but I would absolutely love to! I have only been to Ukraine and Turkey (besides Russia and America of course) but am planning to visit South America in the near future.
I grew up watching south american soap operas (they used to be very popular in Russia for some reason) and fell in love with the culture and the language. I am learning Spanish now and will hopefully visit Argentina next year!
